General Motors (GM) Egypt announced tapping new markets in Ghana, Vietnam and South Africa.
In a statement on Wednesday, GM Egypt said it has formed an alliance with Egypt’s Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) to produce minibuses to be exported to some African States to improve transportation.
The action falls within the framework of the company's policy to open markets in Africa.
Under exportation deals with the three states, GM Egypt and MCV handed over a minibus shipment to Vietnam in the third quarter of 2016, read the statement.
The company also exported car spare parts to Vietnam and South Africa.
