Etisalat announced yesterday the launch of its new weekly Pinoy pack for Filipino mobile customers now offering more data, more voice and more SMS for the low fee of just Dh 20 per week.
The value-packed Pinoy offering provides Filipinos with benefits such as non-stop mobile Internet access, 210 minutes to call other Pinoy Pack subscribers, 20 international minutes to call the Philippines, 20 local minutes and 250 flexi SMS. Flexi SMS can be used for sending local or international text messages.
Commenting on the new pack, Khaled El-Khouly, Chief Consumer Officer at Etisalat, said, "At Etisalat, we are keen to introduce plans and offerings that cater to the unique needs of different customer segments. The UAE has a large Filipino population, many of whom are Etisalat's customers. Our Pinoy Pack addresses the need of this customer base to socialise with their friends locally, as well as stay in touch with their families or friends in the UAE and the Philippines. The competitive pricing and benefits of our pack allows them to do just that, and we hope the Filipino community takes advantage of the new plan."
Etisalat Wasel prepaid customers from the Filipino community can subscribe to the new Pinoy Pack by sending the keyword ‘Pinoy' via SMS to 1012. The weekly pack priced at Dh20, auto-renews if the customer has sufficient balance. Pinoy Pack customers can check the balance of their pack at any time by dialling *140*2#.
