The Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) has donated Dh 520,000 to the Emirates Red Crescent's (ERC) humanitarian programmes locally and internationally.
Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, ERC's Deputy Secretary General for Local Affairs, yesterday received a cheque from Eng. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited (GASCO), in the presence of a number of officials from GASCO and the ERC.
The two sides discussed co-operation and co-ordination as well as enhancement of the humanitarian partnership.
Al Mansouri praised the initiative of the GASCO staff, their support and response to the authority's programmes at the local and international levels.
He added that GASCO is one of the strong supporters of the philanthropic authority's efforts exerted to develop societal domains.
On his part, Al Ameri said that the gesture is seen within the company's unwavering stance and approach towards their social responsibilities. He also expressed GASCO's appreciation to the ERC's humanitarian efforts, locally, regionally and globally.
