DHL Express has established a new direct flight connecting Cincinnati and Manama to facilitate the increased trade between North America and Bahrain. The route shortens delivery time by one day and helps meet growing demand for services between the two regions, the company said. The new route is part of the company\'s investment programme to expand its global capabilities and improve customer service through training for all employees. \"In upgrading our global infrastructure we are delivering on our promise to be the world\'s leading cross-border express brand,\" Ken Allen, CEO of DHL Express, said. \"We are thereby helping our customers get their goods significantly faster to their markets and making it easier for companies to access key industrial production centres.\" Growing need For Ian Carey, vice-president, Aviation, DHL Express — Asia Pacific, East Europe, Middle East, Africa, the introduction of the new route will enable company to meet the growing need for fast delivery options between Bahrain and the US. \"We anticipate it will have a real and immediate impact on our customers\' businesses,\" he said.
