Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, and its group of companies are actively participating in the 28th edition of the Gastech Conference and Exhibition 2015, which kicked off yesterday in Singapore.
Saif Ahmed Al Ghafli, CEO of Al Hosn Gas, headed the ADNOC delegation, which participated in the opening ceremony of the four-day event, inaugurated by S Iswaran, Minister of Trade and Industry in Singapore, along with scores of senior officials, corporate executives and energy experts from all over the world.
ADNOC has made a distinguished presence this year, with a state-of-the-art stand and participation that reflects the huge strides made by the ADNOC Group of Companies, especially in the gas sector and related operations.
Specialised companies within the Group, like ADGAS, GASCO and Al Hosn Gas, are showcasing their latest projects to develop gas resources, and introducing their operational activities with the gas facilities as per the world’s best HSE standards and technique, and the ADNOC delegation is presenting two technical papers.
"We are excited to attend this world-class event that showcases the latest developments and technologies in the gas industry and the energy sector in general, we have also a lot to share with our global partners and fellow professionals. ADNOC has always been an active supporter of this global platform, and has hosted several editions of it over the years. Taking part in this edition with a big delegation is a further indication of the significance of this platform," Al Ghafli said.
The first day of the event witnessed a considerable presence for ADNOC delegation, which held several meetings with representatives of regional and international companies attending the event, discussing cooperation with major players in the gas industry.
The ADNOC delegation also seized the opportunity to host a reception, attended by the UAE embassy's Charge d'Affairs in Singapore, as well as scores of delegations and senior executives from some of the world's leading oil and gas companies.
ADNOC is participating in the scientific conference, submitting a large number of papers, presentations and case studies on the gas industry in the UAE. The ADNOC delegation is holding meetings with representatives of regional and international companies attending the event, discussing cooperation and the exchange of experiences with major players in the gas industry.
