H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on Thursday received Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Djibouti Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to discuss ways of bolstering co-operation and relations in all spheres, including economy, trade and investment.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the UAE's keen interest in promoting relations with Djibouti in various spheres.
Minister Youssouf thanked the UAE leadership and expressed his appreciation for the support extended by the UAE to Djibouti. He hailed the UAE's regional and international stature.
Later, the two ministers signed an agreement on economic and technical co-operation between the UAE and Djibouti.
Abdullah Matar Khamis Al Mazrouei, Director of Arab Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Osman Mousa Darar, Ambassador of Djibouti to the UAE, attended the meeting.
