The ministerial economic committee has reviewed the outcome of a visit paid by Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr to Indonesia.
The meeting also tackled a visit of Sigmar Gabriel, Vice Chancellor of Germany, to Egypt.
Present at the meeting were Prime Minister Sharif Ismail and ministers of planning, supply, international cooperation, trade and industry, finance, public business sector, tourism and investment.
The committee tackled a decision to follow up deals agreed upon during Gabriel's visit to Egypt to promote constructive cooperation between both countries along with supporting the distinguished projects carried out by Germany in Egypt, particularly in the electricity sector, and available investment opportunities in the Suez Canal development project.
The committee also tackled Nasr's visit to Indonesia and her talks with head of the Islamic Development Bank group.
During the visit, the Bank official stressed keenness on financing the projects being implemented in Egypt with an amount hitting 2 billion dollars.
