Japan's core consumer prices rose 0.4 pct in June from a year before, the internal affairs ministry said Friday.
The core consumer price index, which excludes often volatile fresh food prices, stood at 100.2 against the 2015 base of 100, Jiji Press reported on Friday, citing the ministry data.
For Tokyo's densely populated 23 wards, the core CPI rose 0.2 pct in July from a year before to 99.7.
