Argentina has received investor bids totalling just under $70 billion for its first sovereign bond issue in 15 years, a source close to the matter said Tuesday.
Demand for the bonds is "close to $70 billion", the source said. Argentina aims to raise at least $12.5 billion from the issue, with the operation expected to be completed Tuesday.
