Germany has announced that it is extending a 97.4 million Euro grant to Jordan to help carry out a number of development-oriented projects in the Kingdom as part of a pledge made by the European nation at a recent donors conference in Brussels, Belgium, according to Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Imad Fakhoury.
The Petra News Agency quoted the Jordanian Minister as saying that the German government is mulling extending sectoral support to the general budget in light of current pressures.
The minister spoke as he met with the Director of the Middle East Unit at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany, Christine Toetzke.
