Egypt's Ambassador to Rwanda Numira Negm on Tuesday said that Cairo pays great attention to encourage the Egyptian private sector and investors to take part in development and investment projects in Africa.
Negm made the remarks in a meeting with Egyptian investor Ahmed Bahgat, who is visiting Rwanda to look for investment opportunities, and THE Rwandan ministers of infrastructure and trade as well as the Rwandan ambassador to Egypt.
The envoy said that Egypt is keen on supporting the African countries in the field of development, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Rwandan ministers, for their part, said that the African country welcomes the Egyptian investor, pointing out that Kigali is ready to provide all means of support and facilitation to Egyptian investors
