Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Ahmed Darwish embarked on a tour of US cities to get the US business community posted on the potentials of SCZone.
The tour that took him to Chicago and Washington involved expanded meetings with some 100 CEOs of US companies operating in the infrastructure domains in Chicago, members of commerce chambers in Illinois and Washington.
Darwish's presentation centered on the financial and legal rules governing investments in the SCZone.
Members of the Egyptian communities in both cities were also part of Darwish's meetings.
In statements from Washington, Darwish said he addressed the variety characterizing the East Port Said, el Qantara Gharb, East of Ismailia and Ain Sukhna areas.
Many US investors voiced their keenness on establishing factories in the SCZone, Darwish noted.
