Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office in Riyadh, Issa Ntambuka, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Burundi to Saudi Arabia.
Hassna Alturki, executive manager for international relations to the chairman, Fahad bin Nafel, senior executive assistant to the chairman and Ahmed Altobaishi, executive assistant to the chairman, attended the meeting.
The talks began as the ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him.
During the meeting, the two discussed a number of issues on the economic, social and investment front.
Moreover, the ambassador presented investment opportunities to in the tourism, financial, and agriculture sector.
In 2012, Prince Alwaleed was received by Pierre Nkurunziza, president of Burundi.
The president welcomed the Prince to his country and the two discussed investment and philanthropic issues.
Also during the visit, President Nkurunziza honored Prince Alwaleed the highest honor granted by the country “The Order of the Republic”.
