The value of commodities re-exported with a certificate of origin from the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce in May, stood at JD 25 million, according to official statistics.
President of the chamber Hussein Shreim said the number of certificate of origin issued by the chamber and the chamber’s office in the free zone area stood at 689 .
“Most of Zarqa’s exports in May were cars, electrical generators, medical equipment, medicines, cosmetics, accessories, perfumes, plastic house suppliers and others.
Exports dropped by JD14 million in May this year compared to the same period of last year, where it reached JD 39 million, he added.
