General Director of Traffic Colonel Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa today announced that the hard copy of vehicle registration certificate was canceled to reduce the e-registration process. This will enable drivers to finalise the process electronically through the e-government portal and smart phone traffic application.
He said drivers should keep the e-payment receipt to show when requested by traffic police, noting the constant development of e-services. He stressed that traffic police will not issue traffic violations to drivers who do not stick the vehicle registration sticker on the windscreen.
