As part of its efforts to encourage creativity and innovation among its staff, the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs has honuored its employees who had made outstanding achievements during the year 2013, at a special ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.
Employees under the ministry’s excellence team and financial and administrative services were honoured for their participation in the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award. In addition, employees who took the effort to complete their higher education to enhance their job performance were also recognised on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, Sami Bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for Institutional Support Services, and department managers and staff in the ministry.
Speaking on the occasion, Lootah expressed satisfaction at the spirit of team work displayed by the departments in implementing various initiatives and projects, and commended the staff for putting in their best efforts to improve the ministry’s rankings in the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award.
Lootah said, "We are keen to motivate the employees and promote the spirit of competition among them to achieve excellence in their work in line with the strategic objectives of the ministry. The recognition accorded to staff for their outstanding contributions reflects the ministry’s efforts to strengthen the expertise of its workforce in accordance with its strategic objectives." He added, "The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs is focused on creating a positive work environment to enhance staff productivity and promote better work standards." On the occasion, the ministry welcomed new employees and encouraged them to contribute to the march towards excellence. Support staff were also commended for their diligent services that has helped enhance the work environment in the ministry.
