UAE-based Trans Business for Trading and Distribution companies handed the Egyptian government 200 light trucks as part of a grant of 1,000 trucks, businessman Abdullah Rashid Al Nuaimi said.
The UAE company announced its grant to the Egyptian government in response to a call by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the private sector to create more jobs for youth, Al Nuaimi added.
A ceremony was held in 6th of October city to celebrate the delivery of the first batch.
It was attended by UAE Minister of State Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber, Minister of Transport Hani Dahi and UAE Ambassador to Egypt Mohammed bin Nakhira.
