The trade and housing ministries will sign a protocol within two weeks to make use of the 400,000-square meter-sized Exhibitions Ground.
In a statement, Chairman of the Egyptian Expo and Convention Authority (EECA) Mohamed Samy said a project to set up an integrated residential complex at the Exhibitions Ground will be put up for auction as part of the protocol.
A huge campaign will be launched to promote for the project abroad, he added.
Samy made the statements on the sidelines of his participation in the 50th session of the Cairo International Fair, currently held here.
