The Ministry of Minerals has announced establishment of the Sudanese Company for Mineral Services, which is to work as a regulatory body on all the mineral activities, particularly supervision over the mining companies and for the development of the mining sector in the country.
The Minister metals Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Sadiq Al-Karuri has underlined importance of the company for the increase of production and productivity along its significant role in supporting the national economy.
Al-Karuri said, when he chaired Thursday afternoon a meeting included the leadership of the ministry, a number of experts and specialists in the field of minerals and the Director General of the Sudanese Company for Mineral Services Hisham Tawfiq, that there was a development in the field of gold production by the traditional mining and the companies.
The minister stressed the need to put all proposals and views to reach a final formula for the development of the final structure so as the real and practical outset of the company to be in next November.
