The country's development plan has been in the execution phase for almost two years , stated Fadhel Al-Safar, the minister of public works. He was speaking during the launch of the Kuwaiti and International Real Estate Exhibition 2012 on Sunday at the Regency Hotel. This event is being organized by ExpoCity and will last until Wednesday. He outlined the projects in the pipeline, "The public sector depends on local contractors and real-estate sector in giving a new lease of life to projects, in add ition to projects undertaken in cooperation with international and Kuwaiti real estate businessmen. These projects are in the initial stages now. However, when nearing completion, the demand for aluminum, glass, metal, cement and other building materials will increase. The housing and service-oriented projects will demand more construction and building materials as well.
