Representatives of delegations participating in the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) hailed the efforts exerted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to render the event successful.
In this context, the Egyptian president had held over the past two months intensive contacts and meetings inside and outside Egypt to invite world countries to attend the conference, which aims to refresh the national economy and push forward growth rates.
On Wednesday, Sisi received Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan.
Sisi reviewed with the UAE official preparations for holding the EEDC in Sharm el Sheikh on Friday and the investment projects which will be addressed by the conference.
He appreciated the UAE's readiness to launch more investment projects in Egypt.
Sisi also met with former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis.

Sisi met with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and the ministers of international cooperation and investment for discussing preparations for the economic conference.
In his meeting with members of a newly-established Specialized Economic Development Council, Sisi stressed the importance of the role played by economy in enhancing the pillars of the Egyptian state.
Sisi expected the council to come up with scientific ideas that can be implemented in coordination with state institutions concerned.
Sisi had visited Saudi Arabia for talks with Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz on means of boosting bilateral relations and Arab developments.
In Saudi Arabia, Sisi also met with a number of senior Saudi officials, including Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdel Aziz and Governor of Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar. Sisi hailed Saudi Arabia's support for Egypt in all fields.
Sisi had a meeting with Claudio Descalzi, the Chief Executive Officer of Italy's giant oil company Eni.
Descalzi highlighted the depth of Egyptian-Italian relations which have a positive impact on increasing Eni's business in Egypt, noting that the company is intending to increase its investments in Egypt in the coming phase.
He voiced confidence over the promising opportunities provided by the Egyptian economy which is also reinforced by its stable security situation and the mega projects which are currently being carried out.
President Sisi welcomed the company's plans to increase its investments in Egypt in view of the increasing demand of energy on the Egyptian market.
Sisi also reviewed the Egyptian efforts exerted to improve the investment climate in Egypt through the unified investment law that will facilitate measures for any investors willing to establish business in Egypt.
Sisi said such reforms in the investment laws will be announced during Egypt's economic conference.
The Egyptian president called on Italian businessmen, banks and leading companies to increase their investments in Egypt.
He was speaking to a large delegation of Italian businessmen and bankers representing different fields including heavy industries, fuel, energy, railways, textile, insurance and fisheries.
Over the past period, the president met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Coca-Cola Company Mokhtar Kent and executive director of Coca-Cola Curt Ferguson and Chief Executive Officer of German engineering behemoth Siemens Joe Kaeser.
The first meeting came as part of preparations for the economic conference and encouraging international companies to promote investments in Egypt.
The board chairman of Coca-Cola announced that the company intends to pump 500 million dollars on the Egyptian market within the upcoming three years.
He added that the company will establish a new juice company in the Sixth of October City at total investments worth 100 million dollars.
Kent further hailed Sisi's efforts in providing a stable political and security situation in Egypt, a matter which encouraged the company to increase its investments.
