The Social Fund for Development (SFD) has funded since its establishment till December 2014 about 118,000 micro and small-sized enterprises in Sharqiya governorate with a total cost of EGP 1,477 billion.
The SFD provided EGP 182 millions to establish other community and human development projects, training courses as well as labor-intensive infrastructure projects.
For his part, Sharqiya Governor Reda Abdel Salam will pay a visit on Wednesday to the headquarters of the SFD there to review the one stop shop system applied by the SFD to help citizens establish micro and small-sized enterprises.
The SFD system will facilitate issuing the necessary permits and documents for these projects and providing the required finance to establish or develop them.
During his tour, the governor will hand over 20 loans of small-sized enterprises secured by the SFD to locals in the governorate.
The enterprises will include various agricultural, industrial and service areas.
