President Macky Sall of the Republic of Senegal, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received in Jeddah yesterday the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group Dr. Ahmad Mohammed Ali.
During the meeting, the Senegalese President commended the Bank's role in promoting economic and social development in his country, citing a number of important projects in which the bank has contributed to their financing in key sectors such as energy, education, health and transport.
It is noteworthy that the Bank has so far approved finances to Senegal amounting to about 1.4 billion US dollars.
