Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Egypt and its Permanent Representative at the Arab League Ahmed Abdel Aziz Qattan announced Tuesday that the Saudi Fund for Development has transferred 60 million dollars to the account of the Palestinian Finance Ministry in monthly contributions to support the budget of the Palestinian Authority for the months of January, February and March.
Ambassador Qattan stressed in a statement today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to support the Palestinian cause at various levels.
He said his country has been keen since January 2013 to increase its contribution to the budget of the Palestinian Authority from 14 million to 20 million dollars per month.
