Saudi Arabia offers $54m to Yemen

Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohamed Saeid al-Jaber said that his country will provide a food aid worth 54 million dollars to about 45,000 Yemeni families.
During his meeting Monday with Yemeni International Cooperation Minister Mohamed aI-Saadi, the Saudi ambassador said that his country stands fully ready to provide all necessary support to promote stability and development in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia supports Yemen in its efforts to render the transitional phase successful, he added.
The two sides also discussed mutual cooperation and ways of boosting them.
