HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani attended the dinner held by the Commercial Bank to commemorate the milestone of reaching its 40th anniversary.
During the ceremony, the Commercial Bank presented a commemorative award to HE the Prime Minister and also honored a number the bank
A film about the history of the Commercial Bank as Qatar's first private bank was also screened.
In remarks during the ceremony, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Commercial Bank Hussain Al Fardan said he was proud and privileged as the Bank is celebrating its 40th anniversary as well as its significant milestones over the course of 40 years.
In a previous comment, Commercial Bank's CEO Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi said: "2015 is a special year for Commercial Bank as it marks our 40th year as the oldest and largest private sector bank in Qatar. From entrepreneurial beginnings, Commercial Bank has gone from strength to strength driven by the spirit of ambition, entrepreneurship and innovation that our founders believed in and are still at the core of our business.
