HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani held Monday a meeting with New Zealand's Minister of Revenue Todd McClay and his accompanying delegation.
They reviewed bilateral relations and discussed facets of bilateral cooperation and the means to enhance it. They also discussed enhancing bilateral trade and increasing Qatari exports to the market in New Zealand.
Furthermore, the two parties discussed holding exhibitions to promote their respective exports. They also discussed cooperation in the field of energy.
Bilateral trade between the State of Qatar is worth QR1.8 billion based on 2013 data. Qatar's exports to New Zealand were worth QR1.7 billion.
