Qatar and Algeria held here tonight a session of talks, chaired by HE Qatar\'\'s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani, and HE Algeria\'\'s Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia. The talks dealt with bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields, especially in economic and investment domains. The session of talks was attended by members of the delegation accompanying HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, while it was attended on the Algerian side by Minister of Energy and Mines Yousuf Yousfi, Minister of Industry and SMEs Mohammed bin Moradi and Minister in Charge of the African and the Maghreb Affairs. Abdelkader Messahel. Later, the Algerian Premier hosted a dinner banquet in honour of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and members of the accompanying delegation. HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al-Thani arrived earlier tonight to the Republic of Algeria on a two-day working visit and was greeted on his arrival at Boumediene airport by HE the Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, Minister of Energy and Mines, Minister small and medium Industry as well as HE Qatar\'\'s Ambassador to Algeria Abdullah bin Nasser Humaidi. Upon his arrival, HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said in a statement that he is conveying a message from HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, to President of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika, dealing with bilateral ties between the two countries. He said that this visit comes within the framework of contacts between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Algeria, pointing out that there are some agreements that have begun to take shape between the two countries.
