The new seven-member managing committee of the Indian International School Jeddah was formally inducted on Thursday at the school’s premises.The induction ceremony was held under the aegis of the First Secretary (commercial and education) at the Indian Embassy, Riyadh, Ashok Warrier.Warrier is also the Observer of the International Indian Schools in the Kingdom and he underscored the great responsibility on the school management and advised them to follow the school charter for necessary guidelines.He also thanked the new members for coming forward to serve in the committee and appreciated the willingness of the members for this honorary services.Dr. M.S. Karimuddin, member of the higher board, expressed his happiness on the formation of the managing committee and its approval by the Ministry of Education.He congratulated the chairman and all the members of the committee and stressed the higher board and the community have high expectation from them.The managing committee, made up of parents, works in tandem with the IISJ school’s administration to plan for the school year and assist by providing solutions to the school’s smooth running.The managing committee: Muhammad Khursheed Akhtar (chairman), Ashfaque Hussain Maniyar, Abdul Hameed, Azhar Ali Zai, Farooq Hussain, P. Goodwin Isaac Raj and Sunil Yoonus Kutty.
