The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) today announced its sponsorship of “Invest in Bahrain 2017 Forum” taking place under the patronage of HRH the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The 12th annual investment conference, which will be attended by hundreds of leading local, regional and internal investors and high-level government officials, is being organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism on October 31.
NBB’s participation in the Forum comes in line with the Bank’s commitment and ongoing support for Bahrain’s economic development and its Vision 2030.
Jean-Christophe Durand, CEO of NBB, said: “We are delighted to announce NBB’s support and participation in the “Invest in Bahrain 2017 Forum.” From inception, NBB’s core objective has been to support the development and growth of Bahrain’s economy and, as we celebrate our 60th anniversary and six decades of service in the Kingdom this year, we are especially pleased to use this platform to further underscore our dedication to seeing Bahrain continue to grow as a leading regional centre for investment. Our job, day in and day out, is to work with government, large corporates, SMEs and start-ups to help them access and manage the financial resources necessary to drive growth and create value. This Forum will showcase the many opportunities that exist in Bahrain and the vast potential the Kingdom’s economy holds across diverse industry sectors.”
