The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has participated in ASPIRE4SPORT Congress and Exhibition in its eighth edition, at Chelsea Stamford Bridge in London.
A statement issued by the Ministry today said that the Director of Economic Policy and Research Department at the Ministry Saud bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah gave a presentation on the investment opportunities in the sports sector in the State of Qatar and reviewed the system of registration and qualification of companies operating in the sports sector “Opportunity”, which will be implemented during coming period to facilitate access to investment opportunities in the sports field and provide a transparent and efficient procurement process.
Director of the Investment Promotion Department at the Ministry Abdulbaset Al-Ajji, also reviewed the mechanism of attracting foreign investments to the State of Qatar, highlighting the general statistics on the environment of ease of business performance and the advanced levels occupied by the State of Qatar globally, in addition to the facilities provided by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce to foreign investors.
A series of bilateral meetings were held with a number of foreign companies interested in the opportunities offered by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in the State of Qatar.
The Ministry’s pavilion received a number of companies and investors interested in the sports sector in the State of Qatar, and a number of experts and international sports personalities.(QNA)
