Building materials brand Milano held its annual dealers' meet in Dubai on Friday. Over 400 retailers from across the UAE attended the event.
They were given a preview of the new products launched under the Milano label, which included new variations of electrical fittings, sanitary equipment, hardware products as well as a new range of DIY tiles and water purifiers.
The dealers were given information on benefits of the new products. Following the launch, there was a lot of interest generated, resulting in several order bookings.
Anis Sajan, managing director of Danube Group, said: "I am extremely pleased with the turnout and response we have received from our dealers. Every year, we ensure that we bring our retailers and distributors together so that we can assess how well we are doing and also areas we can improve. The dealers' meet has become an anticipated event and a tool for keeping our businesses aligned."
The evening was followed by an award ceremony, where the dealers' performance was recognised and awards were handed over to all retailers who achieved sales targets.
Milano also announced winners of its recently-concluded dealer incentive scheme. Milano announced a 30 per cent increase in sales in the last six months. This was attributed to new products and a growing retailer base. With the increase in its portfolio, Milano plans to tap different verticals of the hardware market in the years to come and expects an increase in its market share.
