Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh on Saturday appreciated Egypt's efforts to resolve many problems Kuwaiti investors and businessmen previously faced in the country.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the Egypt Economic Development Conference held in Egypt's Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, the minister said: "We are aware of serious efforts to resolve problems." He added that Egyptian authorities are working in this regard in collaboration with the Kuwaiti private sector, represented by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
Al-Saleh noted that the Egyptian government and people were impressed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's participation in the conference.
The minister added that Kuwaiti investors and businessmen were keen on attending the conference, hailing the recently adopted investment law.
Al-Salen pointed out that USD four billion's worth of investments announced by His Highness the Amir in his speech during the conference yesterday would be directed towards various economic sectors through different investment tools.
