Kuwait's Al-Bunnyan charitable campaign handed in Saturday six-ton worth of relief aid to some 320 Syrian refugee families in Jordan.
Head of the campaign Dr. Suleiman Al-Shatti told KUNA that the relief aid campaign provided winter necessities to the Syrian families as part of the ongoing mission to ease the suffering of the refugees fleeing violence in Syria since 2011.
Al-Shatti affirmed that Al-Bunnyan will continue its campaign for the Syrian refugees in Jordan as well as other countries in the region.
He said that the 94th campaign will include the provision of winter necessities such as blankets, in addition to USD 140 for each family.
He pointed out that the aid also includes provision of assistance to the orphans and sick peoples as well as distribution of presents to memorizers of the Holy Quran.
The campaign is part of efforts carried out by the Al-Bunnyan campaign to ease the suffering of Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Irbil.
