The Interior Ministry has categorically denied news reports circulated by various social media outlets regarding the ministry's intention to close restaurants, shops and coffee shops after 10 p.m. during the week days and at 1:00 a.m on weekends and public holidays.
The department of security media, in a statement, denied issuance of such a decision saying the reports were "baseless".
The statement went on saying that in case a decision was to be issued concerning such action, the ministry would then issue a clear decision in this regard clarifying reasons and motives to be taken, if any, within its jurisdictions.
