The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) on Sunday opened a factory in Indonesia, the first plant outside the Kingdom, in partnership with the Indonesian government.
The factory, launched in the city of Gercek in eastern Java, was inaugurated by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Hatem Halawani and Indonesia's state enterprises minister Dahlan Iskan.
JPMC board chairman, Amer Majali, also signed with a number of Indonesian companies a memorandum of understanding to proceed with launching a third fertilizers plant in Indonesia with a capital of $300 million.
