Housing Minister Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamer - after his reappointment - held an expanded meeting with the directors of directorates and heads of sections in the Ministry of Housing in the presence of the Ministry's Undersecretary Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the assistant undersecretaries.
The meeting explored latest developments in housing projects and institutional development plans and programmes in all directorates and departments aimed to boost the indices of efficiency and quality of housing services provided by the Ministry to citizens.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the upcoming phase of housing work requires more hard work, precision and diligence on accomplishing the goals of the housing plan up to highest standards of quality and efficacy in view of the giant current and future leap in housing which extends to include the construction of thousands of housing units in all governorates and the new cities all over Bahrain and this requires good management, development of human resources and planning in order to ensure timely workflow according to preset timetables of implementation of these projects.
The Minister commended the efforts of all ministry personnel since the beginning of successful implementation of the housing plan thanks to Allah's help and unlimited support from the leadership and the Government which culminated in giant accomplishments in the preceding period which will positively reflect on the volume of fulfilment of citizens' housing applications in the next two years.
