The Jordan Chamber of Commerce, JCC on Monday will organize in cooperation with the Jordan-Europe Business Association, a Jordanian-Hungarian business forum on the sidelines of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's visit to Jordan. The forum, which will be attended by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and his Hungarian counterpart, will bring together 50 Hungarian businessmen and representatives of the Jordanian private sector. The forum will discuss means of forging closer economic, trade and investment ties between Jordan and Hungary. Cooperation agreements will be signed between private sector institutions from both countries. Trade exchange between Jordan and Hungary fall short of the aspirations of the two countries as the Kingdom's imports from the East European nation stood at $43 million while exports amounted to $4 million. The two countries are bound by agreements and memoranda of understanding in the fields of health, transport, water management, culture, scientific exchange, investment promotion, agriculture, tourism and fighting terrorism and organized crime.
