The first convoy of trailers (caravans) dispatched by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) to Gaza, arrived in the coastal enclave recently.
Secretary General of the JHCO, Ayman Mefleh, told Petra that the convoy, which carried 70 ready-made houses, was donated by the professional associations, noting that the caravans will be distributed to beneficiaries in Gaza by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
Mefleh added that the JHCO will send other convoys to Gaza soon, indicating that it received approval for the dispatch of 2,000 ready-made houses to the coastal enclave.
He said the aid will contribute to alleviating the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza especially during the winter season.
