The General budget deficit stood at JD803.3 million at the end of November 2016 after foreign grants compared to JD1.25 billion in the same period of 2015, according to a bulletin issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Deficit before foreign grants stood at JD1.209 billion compared to JD1.47 billion in the same period, Jordan's Petra news agency reported. Domestic revenues and foreign grants reached JD6.187 billion compared to JD5.735 billion, a rise of JD452 million. Foreign grants stood at JD404 million compared JD448 million in the same period of 2015.
Government spending at the end of November 2016 reached JD6.99 billion compared to JD6.76 billion in the same period of 2015.
