Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi met today with the visiting World Bank Vice President Hafez Ghanem and his accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting focused on economic and financial situation in Iraq, reconstruction of the liberated areas and cooperation in various fields in addition to World Bank's futuristic programmes in Iraq.
Al-Abbadi urged World Bank to work with provinces towards development and reconstruction, stressing that Iraq wants to build a sound economy depends on the long-term strategic vision .
For his part, Ghanem expressed the World Bank willingness to cooperate with Iraq in field of training, supporting private sector and reconstruction of liberated areas.
