In line with the Royal directives, Royal Charity Organization (RCO) Chairman of Board of Trustees, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has inaugurated the dispatch of the first humanitarian relief-aid and medicines consignment to Gaza Strip, with the participation of Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Al-Blushi, Health Minister Dr. Sadiq Al-Shihabi, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ambassador Abdulla Abdulatif Abdulla, RCO Sec-Gen, Bahrain National Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza, Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed and Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain Taha Abdulqader.
Palestinian Ambassador extended sincere gratitude to HM the King, HRH Premier, HRH Crown Prince and First Deputy Premier, RCO Chairman and Sec-Gen. He commended the wise leadership's initiative aims to lift the suffering of the Palestinian people who have been exposed to the Israeli aggression, which has killed and injured hundreds of Palestinian people, inflected severe damage to the infrastructure and created a very serious humanitarian situation.
