British business daily ‘Financial Times’ highlighted, on Monday, the economic progress achieved by Morocco during the last decade, noting that Moroccans are proud of the status of their country as “the economic dynamo of the Maghreb.” “There is pride that Morocco is the economic dynamo of the Maghreb,” the paper said, shedding light on education management in Morocco, benefiting from the economic dynamism of the country and the inducements provided by the government. The Moroccan government views business education as vital to advance its strategies in new and emerging industries, as well as in tourism and agribusiness, the Financial Times noted, quoting the director of a major Casablanca-based management school as saying. Moroccan schools, the paper added, have partnerships with French institutes and intend to expand their presence to the United States. One of these schools, based in Casablanca, is looking to position itself as a business education hub for up to 500 business school postgraduates from sub-Saharan Africa seeking experience in Europe and the wider world, the paper said. “The country has about 35 state-funded business schools and another 110 private business schools,” the Financial Times noted.
