Ambassador of the UAE to Poland, Asim Merza Al Rahma, on 3 March, opened an economic meeting of Poland's Executive Club in Warsaw.
The meeting which was organised by Poland's Executive Council in collaboration with Emirates Airline under the theme " Go Global – Poland and the Middle East", brought together chiefs of top Polish and international companies.
In his address to the meeting, Ambassador Al Rahma emphasised that such meetings bolster the growing bilateral relations between the UAE and Poland.
He noted the important role of Emirates Airline, which launched a non-stop service between Warsaw and Dubai in early 2013, in facilitating trade, investment and tourism between the two counties and eventually serving the right approach embraced by the UAE to promote bilateral relations with Poland.
The UAE Ambassador also attended a discussion alongside Robert Rostek, Adviser on Arab States at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Emirates Airline's Country Manager – Poland, Maciej Pyrka; Artur Kazienko, Owner and President of Kazar Footwear; Henryk Orfinger, Chairman of the Board at Dr. Irena Eris; and Marcin Warwas, Vice President of Comarch SA.
