Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy met Monday with Kenyan Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Felix Koskei along with his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Hanafy discussed with the Kenyan minister exporting brown sugar from the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company (ESIIC) to Kenya along with the manufactured products, which are produced by the companies affiliated with the Holding Company for Food Industries.
The two ministers initially agreed to provide the Egyptian market with Kenyan meat.
Also, a Kenyan delegation will visit next month the Sugar and Integrated Industries Company (SIIC) and sign agreements in the field of exporting sugar to Kenya and importing meat from Kenya.
The Kenyan minister, meanwhile, welcomed the increase of cooperation with Egypt in the various spheres.
He also pointed out to the global logistics center for grain and food commodities which will be held in Egypt's Damietta, saying that the center will add value to the Kenyan products, especially the tea.
