Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab expected investments to increase in 2015.
In an interview via phone with Al-Hayat TV channel. Mahlab said that 2014 witnessed the start of stability and the restoration of state prestige.
“2014 was full of challenges, successes and hope,” Mahlab said, reiterating that the Egyptian people chose their president in fair and transparent polls.
He stressed that the government has an integrated blueprint for the country.
There will be projects for developing poor villages, Mahlab said, referring to the government’s plan to wipe out slums.

The government is fully ready to secure the parliamentary election, he said.
He noted that there will be a cabinet and governor reshuffle during the coming year.
