Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashry will head Saturday for Kuwait to attend the 42nd round of the Arab Labor Conference.
The event will run until April 25 under the auspices of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah at the presence of governments, employers and employees from 21 Arab states along with a galaxy of Arab and international figures in the field of economic and social development.
Egypt's delegation to the conference includes business owners and representatives of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, chambers of commerce and the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF).
A new head for the Arab Labor Organization will be elected for a four-year term out of five candidates nominated for the post.
The candidates are from Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco and Lebanon.
The Egyptian candidate for the post Ahmed el Borai, former minister of social solidarity, will present the program that he will implement in case of winning.
Borai asserted that his program concentrates on practical steps including determining the potentials in each Arab state to create job opportunities whether in the industrial, commercial, agricultural and communication sector.
