At the end of her official visit to Lebanon, Egypt's Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr held several meetings with a host of Lebanese investors to get acquainted with their plans within the coming phase.
The minister met with Lebanese investor Frej Sabonjian, who does business in the stainless steel industry and has several projects in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait.
Sabonijan, who is keen on carrying out investments in Egypt, was invited by the minister to attend the Egyptian-Lebanese business council, which will be held on the sidelines of the meeting of the Egyptian-Lebanese higher committee that will be held in Egypt on March 22-23.
Nasr also met with Lebanese investor Jehad al Arab, who has business in the real estate sector.
The minister also held a meeting with investor Adib Hashem, who voiced keenness on carrying out a project in Egypt.
An agreement was reached to pay a visit to Egypt in mid March to get acquainted with the investment opportunities in Egypt.
The minister affirmed that the government exerts strenuous efforts to promote investment.
