President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree on Tuesday allocating 2,300 feddans to be built as an urban community for the residents of Dabaa area.
The new community is expected to accommodate workers of the nuclear power plant for peaceful energy, Presidential spokesman Alaa Yusef said Tuesday.
The decree was issued in appreciation of the families and residents of Dabaa cooperation with the government to build the nuclear facility, the spokesman added.
It will provide integrated services needed by the nuclear facility, Yusef said, adding, the small town is scheduled to embrace tourist sites and open coast of the Mediterranean.
