Egypt and Saudi Arabia agreed to establish a working group from the two countries’ housing ministries to seek joint projects and promote cooperation.
During a meeting, Egyptian Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli and his Saudi counterpart Majed al Hogail agreed to discuss partnership mechanisms in the housing sector at the governmental and private sectors’ levels.
The Egyptian minister presented a number of projects in new cities available for investment cooperation.
For his part, Hogail praised steps by the Egyptian government to encourage investors and resolve a large number of problems facing them.
Meanwhile, Egyptian assistant housing minister for technical affairs Khaled Abbas made a brief presentation about the projects being carried out by the ministry, mainly the social housing project.
